TREAT YOURSELF TO A "BEAR CLAW"

DOUBLE BARREL SBS

Bear Claws are not just for breakfast anymore.  We can build you a "BEAR CLAW" double-barrel (side-by-side) or over/under (superposed) stakeout SBS using either a customer supplied gun, or any of a variety of current production or used shotguns.  These guns can be had as traditional coach guns with external hammers or as more common internal striker fired guns, with either full shell ejection or partial shell extraction, single or double triggers, in .410 bore, 28 gauge, 20 gauge, 16 gauge, 12, or 10 gauge.  If the gun is available with a wood stock, we can rebuild it into a pistol grip.  Barrels can be shortened to as little as 10", depending upon the model chosen.  We don't advise going any shorter than this due to potential lockup and control issues.  In our experience, the 14" barrel with shoulder stock is the best handling configuration.  Please visit our OPTIONS page for a complete list of accessories. 

We also provide conversion work on customer provided shotguns.  Prices depend on several factors.  If ATF has approved a Form 1 for you to make your own short barrel shotgun, and you need alteration work done on it, we can perform barrel modification and engraving.  If you want both your barrel shortened and your wood shoulder stock modified into a pistol grip, we can do this as well.  Modification of the forearm is an additional charge, but normally we recommend you not do this since it could weaken the area containing the action latch.  Contact us for current pricing and return shipping to you.  Note, on pistol grip conversions we try to preserve any existing checkering.  If you desire to have any preexisting dents or cracks repaired, this can be done for an additional charge (it is not part of our standard grip conversion).  This work may require complete refinishing of the grip to either a smooth or stippled finish (your choice).
